google calendar – description, where art thou?
Google Calendar is a free, web based calendar that’s generally easy to use and you can sync it to your mac or windows machine with various software. all that is well and good, but lately i’ve grown quite frustrated with bugs and a lack of the most obvious features. the biggest of which….
no love for the description.
it’s great that you can add a description to an event. most events do indeed warrant descriptions. i like to put my homework problems and assignments in there to keep track of all my classes.
here’s the rub – try to view your agenda with item descriptions. worse yet — try to PRINT your agenda with item descriptions. if you figure it out, please reply in the comments with instructions.
update - lifehacker posted a great tutorial on “Black Belt Scheduling with Google Calendar,” but alas, no mention of the description.
